We’ve bumped into this place after our museum tour. It had a good vibe, staff was helpful and kind. The food was also really good, we’ve tried the duck pasta and the pasta tartufo, both were really tasty. So I recommend it, if you are looking for a fuss-free, delicious italian place.

Everything from the food, atmosphere to service was amazing. We got the gnocchi, luganica pizza and duck ragu pappardelle (from the specials menu) which were all great, but the real star of the show was the chocolate truffle which was so incredibly rich and velvety - quite possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. We got it with the pistachio gelato which was even better compared to many gelato spots I’ve tried in Italy.
Highly recommend this place for some great authentic Italian food!

Really delicious, authentic Italian meal. We ordered starters, mains and desserts and everyone enjoyed everything!
The waiter was incredibly friendly and funny. Everyone was super attentive.
The restaurant is small, but never felt too cramped, despite being very busy for a Tuesday evening.
I'd definitely recommend popping in if you want a proper taste of Italy in London.

We enjoyed our meal out after a long walk around the national history museum.
Staff were friendly, a little slow when it came to turn over. I thought they would have wantes us to eat and leave quickly to get more people in. Only it took me asking three times for the bill before we could finally pay and then run for our train.

Apart from that, food was delicious 😋 and Atmosphere was pleasant.
And for those of you whom aren't from London, remember, it's London prices. So not cheap!!!

I visited Pierino in South Kensington for a very late dinner about 30 minutes before closing, as I was staying nearby for a few nights. I ordered the classic spaghetti alle vongole (clams) with a glass of red wine. The pasta itself was well-cooked and al dente, but I would have liked more clams for the price. The sauce also felt less authentic than versions I have had in Italy—where I lived for a time and enjoyed it at home and in restaurants—it lacked the brightness and subtle sweetness of fresh tomatoes that I’m used to. That said, the staff were wonderfully friendly, checking in to see if I was happy with the food despite the late hour. A decent spot for a late-night bite in the area!
